Husband and wife James and Kimberly Elam, members of Licking Valley RECC in West Liberty, both reinvented themselves by returning to college in 2007 to pursue teaching degrees. Jim now teaches math and science at Lee County Middle School in Beattyville and Kim teaches math intervention at Rowan County Middle School in Morehead.
