Roy Mosier of Russellville, a Pennyrile Electric cooperative member, recently had an energy checkup, reducing his home’s air leakage by 19.2 percent, which will lower his energy bills monthly. For $1,673 Mosier had his water heater wrapped, a lid built for his attic access, his fireplace and chimney caulked and sealed, his ductwork sealed, and extra insulation added to his attic. And he received a $650 rebate.
