This was the biggest Kentucky Living photo contest ever. The number of entries continues to grow every year, with nearly 9,500 entries in 2012.
If your photo didn’t win, you’re in very good company—narrowing thousands of outstanding images down to just over two dozen was difficult and emotional—the tough choices produced more than a few arguments among the judges.
