We need your December stories
We are looking for readers this December for two stories for next December 2013:
• Do you have a UNIQUE, THEMED CHRISTMAS TREE that’s worth bragging about? Here’s your chance to tell us all about it. Submit a high-resolution jpg photo and a 150-word description of your tree and its décor—explaining why you chose that theme and why it’s special. We may include your tree in our roundup of fantastic and unusual Christmas trees from across the state. We'll send you $25 if we use your tree in our feature.
• We’re also looking for UNIQUE CHORAL GROUPS that perform in Kentucky during the holidays for next December’s issue. In 150 or fewer words, tell us about your group, how long you have been performing, the type of music, why your group is unique, how many people, and where you perform. Include a high-resolution jpg photo of your group. We’ll send you $25 if we include your group in our story.

Snap Shot
Send us “Flower Children” photos for March so that we receive them by January 18. Tell us where the photo was taken; identify who’s in the photo, where they’re from, and your relation to the people in the photo. Be sure to include the name, address, and phone number of the photographer; your name and contact info; and the name of your electric co-op, if applicable. Remember: close-ups of people work best.
Submit digital images online at www.KentuckyLiving.com/submitsnapshots.html or mail prints to Kentucky Living SnapShot, P.O. Box 32170, Louisville, KY 40232. No color laser prints; they do not reproduce well. Photos will NOT be returned unless a stamped, self-addressed envelope is included.
Get a head start on “Kentucky Family Outings” for April 2013, for April, which must be received by February 15.
