Send us your favorite low-fat, low-calorie recipes to kick the year off right, so that we receive them by September 24 for our January issue. Submit original recipes only, online at KentuckyLiving.com/cooking, then click on �Submit Reader Recipe.� Or mail it to us (see �How to Submit� below). If we publish your recipe, we�ll send you $25 cash.

Students: Tell us your story
Balancing College Sports and Academics
College students, tell us in 150 or fewer words how you balance your life to keep your grades up while also maintaining your sports performance (or while maintaining a job, playing music, or other activities). If we publish your tips in our February 2013 College issue, we�ll pay you $50. Must be received by September 30, 2012. See �How to Submit� below for how to enter. Make sure to include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and the name of your electric co-op, if applicable.

Snap Shot
Send us �Christmas Critters� photos for December so we receive them by October 17. Tell us where the photo was taken; identify who�s in the photo and where they�re from, and your relation to the people in the photo. Be sure to include the name, address, and phone number of the photographer; your name and contact info; and the name of your electric co-op. Remember , close-ups including people work best.
� Submit digital images online at www.KentuckyLiving.com/submitsnapshots.html or mail prints to Kentucky Living Snap Shot, P.O. Box 32170, Louisville, KY 40232. No color laser prints, as they do not reproduce well. Photos will NOT be returned unless you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
� Get a head start on �woodcrafting� photos for January 2013, which much be received by November 16.
