Elvis Lives
An unforgettable multimedia and live musical journey, Elvis Lives, will cover his life on Friday, January 25, 7:30 p.m., at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center, Bowling Green. It features finalists from an Elvis contest and a tribute to Ann-Margret, with a live band, backup singers, and dancers as well as iconic imagery from the Graceland archives. Pioneer Prairie Bison Feast
Lake Cumberland State Resort Park in Jamestown will offer tantalizing, traditional bison entrees and vegetable side dishes on Saturday, January 26. The menu includes carved Kentucky Proud steamship round of bison, Southwest-style buffalo chili, smoky barbecued buffalo, and chuck wagon buffalo stew. The feast runs 5 p.m.-8 p.m.; adults $19.95, ages 6-12 $9.95, 5 and under free. Sandhill Crane Watch
Learn about the thousands of sandhill cranes that migrate through the area at Barren River Lake State Resort Park�s Nature Watch Weekend in Lucas, January 25-27 or February 8-10. A state parks wildlife biologist will provide an educational program Friday night at 7 p.m. at the lodge. Choose a van tour on Saturday sunrise, sunset, or Sunday sunrise. View cranes at the roosting site and in nearby cornfields. Adults $30, ages 8-12 $18 (must be over age 8).

Kentucky Bluegrass Kickoff
Stomp your feet and find your beat at The Kentucky Bluegrass Music Kickoff, January 25-26. Get up on stage with renowned musicians at a jam session featuring Banjo Champ Gary �Biscuit� Davis and Flatpicking Champ Roy Curry on Friday night. Join workshops on Saturday afternoon, and then catch Saturday night�s show headlined by the Travelin� McCourys. Tickets $10 (Friday) and $25 (Friday and Saturday combo, no dinner); workshop $20; $49 all-inclusive tickets include Friday show, Saturday Dinner Show, and the Quilt Show.
