2021 Barn Raisin’: Lex Phil at JSP, Symphonic Stroll
Frankfort,
An Immersive Evening of Music, Art & Nature
Lexington Philharmonic, Josephine Sculpture Park & their artist-in-residence Andréa Stanislav, join together to present A Symphonic Stroll, an immersive evening of music, art, and nature! The sounds of LexPhil musicians will float through Josephine Sculpture Park as you stroll the grounds to discover musicians performing pieces connected to the sculptures where they reside.
Throughout the evening, engage with Reflect, Stanislav’s immersive performance, an ongoing migratory global public art intervention. Additionally, a string chamber orchestra will headline the night performing works by Mozart, Chen Yi and Jessie Montgomery. Timed entry and repeated short performances result in live music happening throughout the Park at every moment.
String Orchestra repertoire to include: (Subject to change)

CHEN YI – Sprout
JESSIE MONTGOMERY – Strum
MOZART – Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
