3RD THURSDAY – FREE CONCERT SERIES presented by the Downtown Richmond Association

WHEN: The Third Thursday from May to October, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Band will be playing on the courthouse steps, downtown Richmond. The vendors will be set up on Main Street, between First and Irvine streets. There will be plenty of FREE parking available.

ABOUT: A celebration for downtown Richmond for local residents of all ages, which includes:

• Live music from local area bands, musicians, and singers.
•
• Food, craft and local vendors will be set up, as well as local food trucks!
•
• We will have free activities for kids, as well as giveaways and prizes for our dance contests.

The Grand Opening event on May 19 will feature Restless Leg String Band. Bring your friends, family, a lawn chair or blanket, relax and listen to great local bands and musicians.

WHY: As part of Downtown Richmond Association’s mission to enhance the quality of life in our community as well as promoting local businesses, we are launching a new FREE concert series called Third Thursday. This NEW event that showcases local musicians and bands occurs each month on the third Thursday from May to October from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and works in conjunction with Downtown Richmond’s Thursday Night Live that takes place weekly from April to October.
