Cool Kentucky: Hidden History (VIRTUAL)
Louisville, KY 40202 United States
Join the Frazier Museum as they uncover hidden history in Kentucky: a talented carpenter who revolutionized bed frames, an inventor who devised a smoke hood and a three-position stoplight, an explorer who participated in the Corps of Discovery Expedition, and the first African American woman to obtain a pilot’s license in the U.S. These are just some of the figures whose stories we’ll share with a panel of experts as we commemorate Black History Month. The stories are part of our Cool Kentucky exhibition, which is now on display.
