Family Day: This Is the Thing

This Is the Thing documents a slice of Lexington’s live music scene through the intimate medium of photography, shot and compiled by Andrew Brinkhorst over the course of more than two years. Widely known and respected by the community, the photographs presented by Andrew have never before been exhibited and capture the unique, palatable energy of live music performance.

This is a day that families can come out and enjoy each other’s company alongside some amazing local artwork. There will be several hands on art activities for children to participate in, so while the parents are exploring the gallery, kids will have plenty to keep occupied! All activities will directly relate to the artwork in the show for a real-life connection.
