Friends of Lake Cumberland 27th Annual Lake Cumberland Cleanup

Friends of Lake Cumberland 27th Annual Lake Cumberland Cleanup, Lake Cumberland. Various locations 9 a.m.-12 p.m. local time. The Friends invite you to join them and hundreds of other volunteers to remove tires, trash, old appliances, and other garbage from the shores of beautiful Lake Cumberland. Trash bags and gloves will be provided at all check-in locations: General Burnside Island State Park, Waitsboro Recreation Area, Conley Bottom Resort, Lake Cumberland State Resort Park (ramp), and Grider Hill Dock (all participants are requested to check in). Appreciation Picnics for participants will take place at 1 p.m. local time at Burnside Island State Park and Lake Cumberland State Resort Park.
