For a real cultural experience come for lunch, 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The aroma of hoe cakes cooking on the griddles indicates Pinto Bean and Cornbread are being served. Alternately, hot dogs with the trimmings and a beverage are available. A complementary homemade dessert is provided with the purchase of the Pinto Bean or Hot Dog meal.
For your browsing and shopping pleasure, the Mill Springs Gift Shop opens at 10:00 a.m. and has Cornmeal, Kentucky Proud products, and many other items of intrigue.
