Morehead Theatre Guild presents “110 Stories” by Sarah Tuft

The Morehead Theatre Guild commemorates the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks on New York City with this powerful, moment-by-moment journey through the events of that day. From the first crash at the Towers to a last goodbye at Ground Zero, 110 Stories takes us through 9/11 as told by those who were there. Based on interviews, Sarah Tuft has woven together stories from people to whom we can relate– a mother, a photojournalist, fire fighters, an ironworker, a chiropractor, a police officer, and a homeless man who saved lives that day. Their accounts take us back to when an assault of this magnitude was unimaginable, capturing the shock and horror of the day. This play will be presented at the Rowan County Arts Center FOUR DAYS ONLY – September 9, 10, 11, & 12 – Thurs, Fri, Sat at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available online on August 2 at www.moreheadtheatre.org and can be purchased by calling the Rowan County Arts Center at 606-783-9857.
