We realize there will be many changes to tourism events and other activities over the coming weeks. On April 25-26, 2020 the Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site will be having a new event called Springfest which focus on the importance of parks on the environment. Visitors can learn about native wildflowers and grasses, native birds, how to set up your own monarch butterfly waystation, learn about bees and honey, learn about how to plan a pollinator garden and the importance of groundwater protection. Visitors can walk the parks 19 miles of interpretive trails. Events start on Saturday at 10 am. Vendors will be selling native seeds and food. Cost is $4.00 for adults, $3.00 for children and $3.50 for veterans. Admission gets you into the lectures and museum.
