Louisville,
$20.00

The Jewish Federation of Louisville will host the third offering in its Three Pillars Series, “The Conversation Between American and Israeli Jews After 75 years,” 7 :30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Thursday, March 9 at the Trager Family Jewish Community Center, 3600 Dutchmans Lane. Sara Labaton, director of teaching and learning, Shalom Hartman Institute, will facilitate the presentation. She will discuss how American Jews and Israelis are anticipating the 75th anniversary of Israel’s founding in May of 1948. Labaton will review models that were effective in the past to build relationships between the two countries and what might work in the 21st century for North American Jews and Israel, given the social, political and communal realities of today.
Tickets are $20; register and learn more about the series at JewishLouisville.org/3-pillars.

The Shalom Hartman Institute is a leading center of Jewish thought and education, serving Israel and North America.
