The Ultimate Queen Celebration

June 10, 2017 All Day
Bowling Green,

It’s simple: Queen’s Roger Taylor (drummer) and Brian May (guitarist) handpicked singer Marc Martel to take on the lead vocals for their Queen tribute band known as Queen Extravaganza. If that isn’t a personal endorsement for this amazing artist, then we’re not sure what is. Marc not only sounds dead-on like Freddie Mercury, but he embodies the heart-and-soul Freddie poured into every song he performed. Marc Mantel now brings his tribute band, The Ultimate Queen Celebration, to SKyPAC for an evening you’ll be talking about long after the lights go down. It’s 23 songs that these legendary artists made famous including “Radio Gaga,” “Tie Your Mother Down,” “Fat Bottomed Girls,” “Killer Queen,” “Somebody to Love,” “Bohemian Rhapsody” and more. Pull out those vinyl albums, warm up that singing voice and get ready to rock with the greatest Freddie Mercury voice on the planet. It’s one night only. It’s The Ultimate Queen Celebration.

See for yourself in the YouTube clip of Marc Martel sitting in with the Queen Extravaganza on American Idol bringing down the house. This is the man that’s bringing his Queen band to The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center.

Marc Martel has been fronting The Queen Extravaganza since 2012, when he won a vocal contest arranged by original Queen band members Roger Taylor and Brian May. After winning the contest, Marc and the band made their national television debut on American Idol before launching their first tour. Martel’s contest entry video has been viewed more than 6 million times on YouTube.

Close your eyes, and you’ll swear you’re listening to Freddie Mercury.
