Bernheim, KentuckyOne Health, and the Bullitt County Health Department offer a new series that gives everyone an opportunity to exercise while having their health questions addressed. Walk with a Doc is a friendly walking group that provides a fun, informal way to connect with a healthcare provider.

The series is part of a nationwide program that empowers people to improve their health through physical activity while exercising with healthcare providers. Walkers have the opportunity to learn about important health topics and receive free health screenings, refreshments, and giveaways while in the beautiful surroundings of Bernheim. Participants are encouraged to invite family and friends to walk together toward a healthier lifestyle.

Walk with a Doc programs begin at the Visitor Center with a short orientation. Occasionally hikes will start at other Bernheim locations, but will be on relatively flat and even surfaces. Changes due to inclement weather will be posted on our website. No registration necessary.

FREE; visitors must identify themselves as Walk with a Doc participants at entrance.
