Wilmore Coaster Car Derby

The checkered flag drops on Saturday, May 13, for the 7th Wilmore Coaster Car Derby, sponsored by the Wilmore Community Development Board, City of Wilmore and several independent sponsors. Registration and safety checks start at 11 a.m. with races taking place at 1 p.m. on E. Main St. Participants age 7 and up will take a thrill ride down the hill of E. Main St, which will be closed to other traffic. Kids of all ages will enjoy this simple sport which is over 100years old.
