SUMMARY:City of Erlanger Summer Sendoff
DESCRIPTION:The City of Erlanger will once again host Summer Sendoff\, the city’s end-of-summer celebration\, at Silverlake Park. The event will take place September 19\, beginning with a 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. The main event will begin at 4 p.m. at Silverlake Park. The fun will last all day and into the night\, when the event concludes with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. \nSummer Sendoff brings a vibrant “block party” atmosphere to one of Erlanger’s most beloved parks. The event aims to create a welcoming space where neighbors\, families\, and friends can come together to connect\, celebrate\, and enjoy an evening full of entertainment and community spirit. \nThis year’s event features an exciting lineup of live music\, headlined by Nashville-based band Brother Maven. Opening the evening is Dream Slice\, an R&B/funk band from Indianapolis\, whose unique sound brings new life to old classics. \nIn addition to live music\, Summer Sendoff offers a wide variety of entertainment and activities for all ages\, including:\nA thrilling performance by the WonderDog show team\nA crowd-favorite coney-eating contest\nInteractive live demonstrations\nA captivating fire performance by a Cincinnati Circus performer\nA diverse selection of food and drink vendors\nLocal craft booths featuring handmade goods \nAdmission to Summer Sendoff is free and open to the public.
