DESCRIPTION:Amann Sowell was an avid photographer who passed in 2023.  This exhibit is a photography and (Mother) Nature inspired exhibit that will feature photography by Amann\, the Amann Sowell Photography Contest participants (at the Berea Urban Farm)\, and Gallery on Main photographers. \nAt the reception there will be food provided by the Gallery on Main Board\, drinks\, and also live music.  Come to check out the Nature inspired photography\, purchase artwork (or prints)\, and to support the local arts!

DESCRIPTION:An enslaved couple in Louisville\, a daring escape\, a jailbreak\, and finally a new life in Canada—learn about the incredible lives of Thornton and Lucie Blackburn on September 15 during Underground Railroad Month. Archaeologist and author Karolyn Smardz Frost\, who uncovered their story in Toronto\, will join us. So will Hannah Drake and Josh Miller from the (Un)Known Project\, Lamont Collins from Roots 101\, and the Frazier’s Rachel Platt\, who traveled to Toronto.
