Hosted by Woods & Waters Land Trust\, this curated program of short films features Kentucky filmmakers alongside inspiring conservation stories from beyond our region. \nThe festival will be shown in three communities connected by the Kentucky River—Frankfort\, New Castle\, and Carrollton—bringing audiences together around a shared appreciation for land and water. The program includes Kentucky Wild Rivers: Secrets of Discovery\, River Cowboy by Kentucky Waterways Alliance\, Journey of the Blob\, Once Upon a Forest: A Twig Poet’s Rewilding Journey\, River\, River\, River Run\, and a few short conservation films produced by the Wild Hope series. \nDuring a brief intermission\, we’ll host a short conversation inspired by one of the films featuring a guest involved in its creation. We’ll also have a few fun giveaways donated by community sponsors. \nThrough film\, conversation\, and community gathering\, the festival invites audiences to see familiar landscapes in new ways and reflect on how we care for the places we call home. \nSeating is limited.
