Hosted by Woods & Waters Land Trust\, this curated program of short films features Kentucky filmmakers alongside inspiring conservation stories from beyond our region. \nThe festival will be shown in three communities connected by the Kentucky River—Frankfort\, New Castle\, and Carrollton—bringing audiences together around a shared appreciation for land and water. The New Castle screening is co-hosted by the The Berry Center\, whose work champions land stewardship and working landscapes in Kentucky. \nEach screening features the same collection of films exploring themes of discovery\, stewardship\, creativity\, and our relationship with the natural world. The program includes Kentucky Wild Rivers: Secrets of Discovery\, River Cowboy by Kentucky Waterways Alliance\, Journey of the Blob\, Once Upon a Forest: A Twig Poet’s Rewilding Journey\, River\, River\, River Run\, and a few short conservation films produced by the Wild Hope series. \nDuring a brief intermission\, we’ll host a short conversation inspired by one of the films featuring a guest involved in its creation. We’ll also have a few fun giveaways donated by community sponsors. \nThrough film\, conversation\, and community gathering\, the festival invites audiences to see familiar landscapes in new ways and reflect on how we care for the places we call home. \nSeating is limited. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

SUMMARY:WOODFORD THEATRE PRESENTS: "THE UNDERPANTS"
DESCRIPTION:March 20-22 / 27-29 / April 3-5\, 2026\nFridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm\nSundays at 2:00pm \nThe renowned comic actor and author of Picasso at the Lapine Agile provides a wild satire adapted from the classic German play about Louise and Theo Markes\, a couple whose conservative existence is shattered when Louise’s bloomers fall down in public. Though she pulls them up quickly\, he thinks the incident will cost him his job as a government clerk. Louise’s momentary display does not result in the feared scandal but it does attract two infatuated men\, each of whom wants to rent the spare room in the Markes’ home. Oblivious of their amorous objectives\, Theo splits the room between them\, happy to collect rent from both the foppish poet and the whiny hypochondriac.
