SUMMARY:Bells Across America DAR Event: Honoring the American Constitution
DESCRIPTION:Bells Across America is an annual event held on September 17th (Constitution Day) to celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17\, 1787. Participants across the country ring bells for one minute at exactly 4 pm to recreate the moment church bells in Philadelphia rang out when the document was signed. On that day in 1787\, the ringing of the Pennsylvania State House bell and local church bells announced the completion of the U.S. Constitution to the public. The United States Constitution is one of America’s most important documents\, and stands as a testament to the tenacity of Americans throughout history to maintain their liberties\, freedoms and inalienable rights. This event is widely promoted by the national Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)\, who originally petitioned Congress to establish Constitution Week. \nThis local event is sponsored by the Isaac Shelby Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and will be held on the lawn in front of the Shelby County Historical Society Museum at 627 Main St.\nPlease bring your own bell if possible and join in this national celebration. \nCelebrating 250 years of history in Shelby County\, Kentucky!

SUMMARY:Madisonville 9/11 Heroes Run
DESCRIPTION:Mark Your Calendars!\nJoin us for Madisonville’s 14th Annual 9/11 Heroes Run on Saturday\, September 12th in Downtown Madisonville.\nTwenty-five years. And yet\, if you close your eyes\, you can still remember exactly where you were. September 11th didn’t just change our country – it revealed who we are. It showed us what courage looks like when everything is on the line\, and it reminded us that some people run toward danger while the rest of us are still trying to make sense of it.\nThis run is for them. For the nearly 3\,000 lives lost that morning. For the first responders who didn’t hesitate. For the men and women who raised their hand to serve in the years that followed – including Madisonville’s hero\, SGT William Patrick Rudd\, who gave everything on his 8th tour of duty in 2008. And for the heroes who put on a uniform in this community every single day.\nWhether you run\, ruck\, or walk\, come be part of something that matters. Since 2013\, Madisonville has raised nearly $90\,000 for local first responders through the Patrick Rudd Project and another $90\,000 for the Travis Manion Foundation. That didn’t happen because of one person — it happened because this community keeps showing up.\nWe hope you’ll show up again this year.\nDate: Saturday\, September 12th | Location: Downtown Madisonville | Time: 8 PM |\nRegistration: 911heroesrun.org/madisonville\n“If Not Me\, Then Who…” — 1st Lt. Travis Manion\, USMC\nREGISTER HERE: 911heroesrun.org/madisonville

SUMMARY:Steve Gonsalves LIVE: A Life With Ghosts
DESCRIPTION:A Life with Ghosts returns this fall with Steve Gonsalves for an immersive evening of hauntings\, history\, and true tales from his personal archive. Known for Ghost Hunters\, Ghost Nation\, The House Inbetween\, and as the bestselling author of A Life with Ghosts\, Steve shares stories from some of his favorite and most well-known cases. \nThis updated show features new stories\, historical details and exclusive footage. Through firsthand accounts\, rare clips\, haunted objects\, and behind-the-scenes moments\, Steve gives audiences a close look at the cases\, evidence\, and experiences from his years of investigations. Along the way\, he explores the real history behind these cases — history that is sometimes just as unsettling as the hauntings themselves. \nThe evening also includes humor\, audience interaction\, and a live Q&A\, giving fans the chance to ask Steve about ghost hunting\, evidence\, and the stories behind the investigations. A Life with Ghosts is a personal and thought-provoking night with one of the most recognized voices in the paranormal.
