Woodford Legends Invitational returns

The fourth annual Woodford Legends Invitational returns to The Woodford Club in Versailles on August 8–9, and a 72-time winner on the LPGA Tour will make her WLI debut.
Annika Sörenstam—a legend and premier performer of her generation—will play in a team event with her sister, Charlotta Sörenstam, alongside many of the greatest names in women’s professional golf history.
Back-to-back defending champions Catriona Matthew of Scotland and Becky Morgan of South Wales also will return to defend their title.
The WLI is the only team event on the LPGA Legends Tour and benefits The Woodford Club Foundation, which raises funds to enrich the lives of individuals and communities, and KVC of Kentucky.
For more than 25 years, KVC Kentucky has provided critical mental and behavioral health, substance abuse, child welfare and family support services to children and families in crisis throughout the commonwealth.
Beyond its charitable impact, the tournament also creates a unique opportunity for young female golfers from across Kentucky to spend meaningful time with some of the greatest players in the history of the game.
These amateur golfers have the chance to play in a separate division alongside LPGA Legends, forming lasting connections with accomplished role models who generously share their experiences, wisdom and encouragement.
