Cranberry Jalapeno Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese
  • 3 jalapenos, finely diced
  • ½ bunch green onion, thinly sliced
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • ½ C sugar Zest of 1 orange
  • Juice of ½ orange
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Directions

Finely dice the jalapenos and green onions. Add to a food processor, along with fresh cranberries and remaining ingredients except cream cheese. Pulse around 10 times to mix and finely dice the cranberries. Put mixture in an airtight container and chill in refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. To serve: place a block of cream cheese on a platter and spread it out in a thin layer. Spoon out the desired amount of cranberry dip to cover. Serve with water crackers and enjoy. Makes 2 cups of dip.
