Fancy Farm Picnic 24-hour Slaw
Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- Dressing
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup Wesson oil
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

Combine all ingredients and let set while preparing the dressing
Dressing: Bring ingredients to a boil in saucepan. Pour immediately over the cabbage mixture. Stir well and refrigerate. Chopped onion may be added if desired.
