About Us

Formed in 1940, Big Sandy RECC is a member-owned electric cooperative based in Paintsville. We serve roughly 13,000 members across eight eastern Kentucky counties, maintaining about 1,100 miles of line. Our work centers on reliable, affordable electricity, safe operations and service rooted in our communities.
