About Us

Organized in 1937, Jackson Purchase Energy is a member-owned electric cooperative headquartered in Paducah. We serve more than 30,000 consumer-members in Ballard, Carlisle, Graves, Livingston, Marshall and McCracken counties. Our power is supplied by Big Rivers Electric Corporation, and our team maintains nearly 3,000 miles of line and 29 substations to provide safe, dependable electricity across far western Kentucky.
