Good news for members: Rates will remain stable this year

We’re pleased to share some good news with our members: there will be no increase in electric rates or the monthly customer charge this year.

We know that keeping energy costs manageable matters to every house-hold and business we serve. Pennyrile Electric remains focused on responsible financial management, reliable service and making decisions that are in the best interest of our members.

While we’re holding rates steady this year, we also want to be transparent about the road ahead. We anticipate that modest rate adjustments are possible over the next several years as we respond to rising costs, system investments and the changing energy landscape.
