Cave City Cars and Coffee

From April to October, the first Saturday of every month the streets of downtown Cave City shut down for Cars and Coffee. This will be our 3rd year and the event brings about 400 cars and a few thousand people each time for this 3 hour event. There’s live music, a farmers market, kids zone and vendors. This generates around 140k in indirect sales for our local businesses for the year and has be the drive behind investors who are in the process of building retail spaces, major apartment complexes and a classic car museum. To be honest, this event is saving this town which is important since we’re the exit to Mammoth Cave NP. I sent a link to a recent story that was covered on our group BLDG (Buisness Leaders Development Group) who is responsible for the event and revitalizing downtown. I also have amazing videos and photos (we hire professionals for each event) and we spend around 6k on online marketing for a 300 mile radius with most of our people driving from a 3hours away. We also have celebrities (Mike Wolfe, American Pickers, Chip Foose, Overdrive, etc) attend. We feel we are playing a part in tourism and bringing people to KY because we love this state and want to show what we have to offer and to us that makes a great story! We hope you feel the same!
