- 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 8 to 12-oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
- 20 oz. can black cherries, pitted and cut in half, reserving juice
- 8-oz. carton frozen whipped topping
- 1/2 pkg. mini marshmallows Chopped pecans and coconut, optional
Drain off juice of cherries and reserve.
Whip cream cheese adding cherry juice until all is blended in. Add 8-oz. carton thawed whipped topping.
Fold in cherries and add crushed pineapple.
Add marshmallows, and nuts and coconut if desired.
Chill several hours in a 9x13x2-inch pan.
Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
