Blessing of the Hounds
Join Shaker Village and the Woodford Hounds fox hunters for their annual Blessing of the Hounds in Harrodsburg. This traditional event features a blessing of the hounds, riders, and the fox, and is followed by the first meet of the formal season. Witness the pageantry of this grand event where riders dress in formal hunting attire with foxhounds alongside. The event takes place Nov. 28 near the West Lot equestrian facility. Elk viewing tours

Run to the Gorge
