The CLE training fulfills the requirements for the Core Competencies in Breastfeeding Care and Services for Health Professionals as outlined in the US Breastfeeding Committee (no endorsement by the USBC is implied), WIC Peer Counselor Training, Welcome Baby Program and BFHI. It is well-suited for HCP, midwives, nurses, chiropractors, nutritionists, lactation consultants, peer counselors, WIC staff, doulas and other birth professionals and advocates. 21.25 L-Cerps awarded by IBLCE.
This well-rounded, interactive course is suited perfectly for those who have a desire to become more proficient in offering breastfeeding support or begin a career in lactation education.

The maternal-child professional and community volunteer will both benefit greatly from this complete breastfeeding education course. Learn the many facets of breast/chestfeeding while gaining the skills and expertise to engage students as an educator.

Instructor, Bonnie Holt Logsdon, RD, IBCLC, CLE, has committed her career to families of childbearing years to promote, protect and support breastfeeding as normal infant feeding. With more than 20 years of experience, Bonnie is a Registered Dietitian (RD), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Lactation Educator™ (CLE©), and as a trained birth doula. Currently she is so grateful and happy to be supporting Louisville and Southern Indiana families during the prenatal and postpartum period for both nutrition and breastfeeding support through her private practice nutrition and lactation business, Bonnie Knows Breast, along with teaching classes to both families and professionals.
