Paddle for a Purpose

SATURDAY, October 25th, join Woods & Waters Land Trust and Canoe Kentucky for a paddle on the Kentucky River that winds through downtown Frankfort. Bring your own, or rent a canoe or kayak from our partner Canoe Kentucky.

$75 per person to rent a canoe or kayak or $50 per person if you bring your own boat.

The October 25th paddle will begin and end at The River House behind the Paul Sawyer Public Library in downtown Frankfort. Beginning at 1pm, participants will paddle part of Pool 4, lock through Lock and Dam 4 into Pool 3, and then return with a stop along the way at the Boathouse at River Row.

This paddle will feature riverside educators, free food, and fun!

All equipment and shuttle services are provided by our Paddle for a Purpose partner, Canoe Kentucky. All proceeds directly support Woods & Waters Land Trust’s work protecting land and water in the Lower Kentucky River Watershed.
