Bob Edwards, longtime ‘Morning Edition’ host, dies at 76

Bob Edwards, veteran broadcaster and longtime host of Morning Edition has died. He was 76 years old. From newscaster to host, Bob Edwards made his mark at NPR before moving on to Morning Edition. Edwards, a University of Louisville graduate, grew up in Louisville with the Bingham family’s Courier-Journal and WHAS radio and TV. Here is our cover story from 1995.
