Anita Travis Richter

Anita worked for Kentucky Electric Cooperatives for 27-plus years, beginning in 1996 and retiring in 2023. She was named editor of Kentucky Living in 2015 and served as the managing editor prior to that.

Anita was a member of the national Cooperative Communicators Association for 25 years, serving six years on the board and as its president 2010–2011. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Indiana University Southeast.

She enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughter, gourmet cooking, gardening and travel.
