American Rides–hogs & Vettes
For the first time ever, two of America’s favorite rides and passions, the Corvette and Harley-Davidson, will join together for “American Rides” June 4-5 in Bowling Green. Hosted by the National Corvette Museum and Harley-Davidson Bowling Green, the event offers seminars, museum and plant tours, road tours, food, and entertainment.
Road tours to the world-famous Jim Beam Distillery and Schmidt Coca-Cola Museum, tours to the Corvette Assembly Plant and National Corvette Museum, a BBQ and live entertainment at Harley-Davidson Bowling Green, and informative seminars are a sampling of the featured activities.
Corvette Assembly Plant tours on Friday at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12 noon are limited to 30 people per tour. The Friday afternoon BBQ with entertainment at Harley-Davidson Bowling Green is by pre-registration. The Saturday morning Jim Beam and Coca-Cola tour is limited to 100 people with a $15 pre-registration, with lunch included at Jim Beam. Saturday afternoon activities include a “Show & Shine” in the National Corvette Museum parking lot and seminars, with an awards ceremony at 4 p.m. Some activities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
