An Art Contest For The Governor’s Mansion

First Lady Jane Beshear, the  Kentucky Executive Mansion Foundation Inc., and the Department of Education are sponsoring an Art and Essay Contest as part of the Governor’s Mansion Centennial Celebration. Students from public, private, or home schools can participate with electronic entries only. Visual art, K-12, can use any medium creating a two- or three-dimensional work reflecting the contest theme. Essays, grades 4-12, must use one of three writing prompts. The first-prize winners in each age group will receive a $100 prize. Submissions deadline is March 14. Visit www.governorsmansion.ky.gov/centennial/contest for official rules and entry information.
