Sing-a-long Wizard Of Oz

The National Tour of Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz, the new, interactive theatrical film experience based on the most beloved motion picture of all time, The Wizard of Oz, comes to Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center, Elizabethtown, on Friday, October 24, 7 p.m.

Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz is a splashy night of theater and film mixed with a festive costume-filled celebration. This Oscar-winning film will be presented as never seen before—fully restored for the big screen. Sing-A-Long Wizard of Oz invites audiences of all ages to celebrate the story of Dorothy and her fantastical journey through Oz by joining in and singing along to some of history’s best-known and loved songs in a theater filled with audience members dressed up as Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, the Wicked Witch of the West, and other favorite Wizard of Oz characters.

The master of ceremonies will lead the crowd through a comical interactive guidebook to the evening’s audience participation of gestures and expressions, including singing along with Dorothy and hissing at the Wicked Witch.

Tickets are on sale now, $20 in advance, or $25 at the door. For more information or to reserve tickets, call Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center at (270) 769-8837.
