Breakfast Supports Fallen Lineman Organization
Employees of Fleming-Mason Energy recently held a benefit breakfast in support of the Fallen Lineman Organization. The Fallen Linemen Organization’s mission is to memorialize fallen electrical line workers and care for the families who have lost or are impacted by a severe injury of a loved one in the line of duty.
Fleming-Mason Energy employees were asked to make a donation instead of paying for the breakfast meal. Through the generosity of Fleming-Mason Energy employees, employees were able to raise $547 in donations for this worthwhile cause.
The Fallen Lineman Organization has already donated over $30,000 this year to families of fallen and severely injured electrical line workers. In addition, the organization provides $3,000 to $5,000 in scholarships each year. Other expenses the organization may cover includes hotel expenses while a family stays near their loved one, assistance for the family as they deal with financial issues or counseling services for those traumatized by their loss.
