Reenactment of the Battles of Lawrenceburg and Dog Walk

The 156th Anniversary Reenactment of the Battles of Lawrenceburg and Dog Walk will take place in Lawrenceburg. There will be opportunities for spectators to witness drills and the battle reenactment and to visit the camps to learn about camp life during the civil war.
The following is the full schedule of events:
​Friday, September 21
8 a.m.-3 p.m. – School day activities

Saturday, September 22
9 a.m. – Camps open to the public. Tour the camps to learn about camp life during the civil war
9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Individual company/battery drills.
1:30 p.m. – Camps close to public
2 p.m. – Battle of Lawrenceburg
3 p.m. – Camps reopen to the public
5 p.m. – Camps close to the public
Dusk – Artillery night firing demonstration. (tentative)

Sunday, September 23
​9 a.m. – Camps open to the public. Tour the camps to learn about camp life during the civil war
9 a.m.-12 p.m. – Individual company/battery drills.
1:30 p.m. – Camps close to public
2 p.m. – Battle of Dogwalk
