Springfest

Springfest May 7 from 9 am to 5 pm. The event will highlight how the Perryville battlefield is working together with the Kentucky Nature Preserve to preserve, conserve, and educate the public about how the battlefield is not only about history, but also preserving Kentucky’s native grasses, habitats, and wildflowers. Non profit organizations such as The Garden Club of Kentucky, Kentucky Wild, Bluegrass Green Source, Kentucky State Beekeepers, Bluegrass Green Source, Master Gardners and others will have booths set up talking about birds, butterflies, wildflowers, native habitats, and native wildlife. Lectures will be given throughout the day. Handmade nature related products will also be sold at the event.
