  • Button-Up Weatherization
    Incentives for customers to reduce the heat loss of their home by improving insulation, installing higher efficiency windows or doors, or by reducing the air leakage in home. Home must be two years old or older and primary source of heat must be electricity. Eligible dwellings may qualify for one of four levels. Call for program requirements and amount of incentives.
  • Heat Pump Retrofit
    Incentives for residential customers to replace their existing electric resistance heat source with a high-efficiency heat pump. Heat source must be at least two years old. Incentives are as follows: $750 for replacement with 14 SEER/8.0 HSPF; $1,000 for replacement with 15 SEER/8.5 HSPF or higher. These incentives also apply to new manufactured homes.
  • Touchstone Energy Home
    The single-family home must meet program guidelines following one of three available paths of approval. Call Licking Valley RECC for details.
  • SimpleSaver
    Peak demand usage conservation program; offers credits for participating A/C and water heater units. For more info see “SimpleSaver” article at top.
  • ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate
    This program provides rebates to all residential members who purchase and install ENERGY STAR-certified appliances after January 1, 2015. See program details at ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate.

  • Appliance Recycling Program
    Residential members are eligible to have their old, inefficient, but still operating refrigerator or freezer removed at no cost and will be rewarded with a $50 incentive per appliance. See full program details at Appliance Recycling Program.
  • ENERGY STAR Manufactured Home Program
    If you’re thinking of purchasing a new manufactured home, be sure to request the ENERGY STAR Manufactured Home Program to your salesperson. You may be eligible for an ENERGY STAR-certified upgrade at no additional cost. In most cases, manufactured homes installed in our co-op service territory may be upgraded to ENERGY STAR standards through this energy-efficiency program. Right now, that’s an average savings of about $1,100 each year or about $90 a month on your electric bill.
