Tim Webb

Contributing Photographer

Tim is a freelance corporate and editorial photographer from Richmond. His photographic journey began in 1978 when his Dad introduced him to photography by setting up a make-shift darkroom in their living room. Tim has had a camera around his neck ever since then, going on to work on his high school newspaper and yearbook in Powell County. In 1994, he became the University Photographer at Eastern Kentucky University, after working several years in community journalism at the Clay City Times. Tim left EKU in 2004 to pursue a career as a freelancer. He now travels all over Kentucky and surrounding states doing assignment photography. In December 2015, Tim was chosen to serve as Gov. Matt Bevin’s personal photographer during his inauguration.

When he’s not out burning up the roads on assignment, he’s usually home watching TV with his wife and kids. He loves to teach Sunday School to fourth and fifth graders, and is an avid deer hunter and genealogist.
