Grilled Chicken Skewers with Tzatziki Dipping Sauce (video)

  • Chicken
  • 1–1½ lb chicken breast
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dill
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Juice of ½ lemon


Slice each chicken breast into 1-inch strips. In a bowl, whisk together lemon, mustard, olive oil and spices. Add chicken strips and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in fridge for 30 minutes or up to 3 hours. 

Preheat your grill to 350°. Gently thread each chicken strip through skewers. Place on hot grill and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. 

Remove from grill and enjoy with dipping sauce. 

For the sauce, grate cucumber on cheese grater. Lay on several sheets of paper towels and squeeze out excess water. 

In a bowl, add in yogurt, cucumber and rest of ingredients. Whisk to combine. Serves 6.
