More Than A Boat Show
The International Houseboat Fest, showcasing the latest and greatest in houseboats along with the amenities and gadgetry to enjoy them, will be a major addition to the 52nd Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.
The houseboat portion runs January 29-31, while the Sportshow will be held January 24 through February 1.
This year’s 400,000 square feet of the hottest new boats, recreational vehicles, outdoor sporting gear, and vacation information will also feature the Take Me Fishing Center, an interactive exhibit that includes an indoor 5,000-gallon tub stocked with native bass, perch, crappie, and catfish, where there will be live fishing demonstrations.
The fishing center will also feature demonstrations from leading experts to help you start or improve your fishing skills. You can also take in a performance of Dock Dogs, where four-legged competitors run down a 40-foot-long dock into a 40-foot-long pool filled with water.
Different types of giveaways will include trips and outings, a shopping spree, memberships, and gift certificates.
For information on purchasing tickets, including advance sales, reduced-price admissions, and combination admissions to both the Sportshow and Houseboat Fest, phone (502) 935-4141, or on the Internet visit www.LouisvilleBoatRVShow.com or www.IntlHouseboatFest.com.
