Cherry Tomatoes with CrabMeat


  • 36 cherry tomatoes
  • Salt
  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1-1 /2 teaspoons minced onion
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon horseradish
  • Dash of garlic salt
  • 1/2 lb. crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup minced celery
  • 1 Tablespoon finely chopped green pepper


Cut top off each tomato and scoop out pulp.

Sprinkle inside of tomato with salt and invert on paper towels to drain.

Blend cottage cheese until smooth. Add next 4 ingredients, blending well.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spoon crabmeat mixture into tomatoes.

Chill before serving.

Makes 36 appetizers.
