Chicken and Dumplings

  • 1 chicken, cut up
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 cups celery
  • 4 Wyler's bouillon cubes


Place all ingredients in a large cooking pot. Let chicken cook until it falls from the bone. Remove bones and cut chicken up before returning it to the pot. Cook for approximately 20 more minutes.

To prepare dumplings:

Take two cups of flour and add some broth along with two eggs. Mix until it is thin (not doughy) and drop by spoonful into hot chicken mixture. Simmer until dumplings are cooked, stirring constantly.
