- 1/4 C chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 to 4 lb pork shoulder
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 C maple syrup, optional
Stir together chili powder and salt in a small dish. Smear the pork all over with olive oil, then cover the meat with your spice mix. Heat your grill to
200°. Place the pork on the grill so that it is not directly over the heat. Close the lid. Cook the meat 4 1/2 hours. Brush all over with maple syrup and cook 1/2 hour more. Slice to serve.
