Quick And Easy Microwave Corn

  • Serves 4.


  • 4 ears fresh corn, unhusked
  • Butter or margarine


Peel back the husks and remove silks from corn. Leave the husks intact. Brush ears generously with melted butter or margarine, replace husks, and fasten with cotton strings. Place 1 inch apart in the microwave. Cook 4 minutes. Turn ears over and cook an additional 4 minutes. Allow corn to stand 3 to 4 minutes with the husks in place. Turn husks back and use these as a handle to eat your corn. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
